क्या कभी हमने पुष्पों की अभिलाषा को जाना है
एक वार महर्षि जावालि ने पर्वत पर ब्रम्हकमल खिला देखा। शोभा और सुगंध पर मुग्द होकर ऋषि सोचने लगे उसे देवता के चरणों में चढ़ाने का सौभाग्य प्रदान किया जाये।
ऋषि को समीप आया देख पुष्प प्रसन्न तो हुआ ,पर साथ ही आश्चर्य व्यक्त करते हुए आगमन का कारण भी पूछा ।
जावालि बोले, -"तुम्हें देव - सामीप्य का श्रेय देने की इच्छा हुई ,तो अनुग्रह के लिए तोड़ने आ पहुंचा ।"
यह सुनकर ,पुष्प की प्रसन्नता खिन्नता में बदल गइ । तब ऋषि ने पुष्प से उदासी का कारण पूछा तो फूल ने कहा "देव -सामिप्य का लोभ संवरण न कर सकने वाले काम नहीं । फिर देवता को पुष्प जैसी तुच्छ वस्तु की न तो कमी है और न चाह है । ऐसी दशा में यदि मैं तितलियों -मधुमक्खियों जैसे क्षुद्र कृमि- कीटकों की कुछ सेवा सहायता करता रहता ,तो क्या बुरा था। आखिर इस क्षेत्र को खाद की भी तो आवश्यकता होती है ,जहाँ मैं ऊगा और बढ़ा । "
महर्षि जवालि ने पुष्प की भाव -गरिमा को समझा और वे भूरी -भूरी प्रसंसा करते हुए उसे पाने कर्तव्य /कर्म के यथास्थान छोड़कर वापस लौट आये।।
विशेष :- प्रकृति की किसी भी कृति को वे बजह बर्बाद ना करें।

Have we ever known the desire for flowers
One time Maharishi Javali saw the Brahmkamal feeding on the mountain. Turning to the beauty and fragrance, the sage started thinking that he should be given the privilege of offering it at the feet of the deity.

Flower was pleased to see the sage approaching, but also expressed surprise and asked the reason for his arrival.
Speak Javali, - "If you wished to give credit to Dev - Samyapya, then you came to break for grace."
This delight turned the happiness of the flower into a disservice. Then the sage asked the flower the reason for the sadness, the flower said, "The covetousness of the deity-seer is not able to do anything. Then the deity is neither lacking nor wanting an insignificant thing like a flower. In such a situation if I have butterflies -What bad was it, if a little worm-like insect-worm kept on serving some of the insects. After all this area also needs manure where I have grown and grown. "
Maharishi Jawali understood the sentiment of the flower and he went back to the place of duty / deeds to get it, while admiring the brown.
Special: - They should not waste any work of nature.
